SULTAN 2.ABDÜLHAMİD HAN EĞİTİM VE ARAŞTIRMA HASTANESİ

The radiology service is located in the hospital on the second and third floors of the D Block floor and first floor and the Radiology Imaging Center building. There are 2 x 1.5 Tesla Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) devices, 320 x 64 single-section Computed Tomography (CT) devices, 1 Digital Mammography device, 1 Angiography, 1 Bone Densitometer, 5 Digital X-ray devices , 7 Ultrasonography devices are available.

Currently, there are 1 Professor, 4 Associate Professor, 2 Assist. There are 7 instructors. 1 Specialist, 6 Specialist student, 10 X-ray Technician Astsb., 1 Administrative Affairs Officer, 1 Supervisor. There are 13 Civil Officer X-ray Technician, 6 nurses, 6 Data Preparation Control Operators, 1 Medical Secretary and 6 Service Personnel.

In our service, many diagnostic and interventional procedures can be performed very rarely in foreign centers except routine operations with CT, MRI and DSA. These include organ perfusion studies, virtual angiography and endoscopy procedures, stenting and percutaneous interventional procedures, MR grafts under anesthesia, cardiac MRI, virtual endoscopic examinations and cerebral CT - DSA. In Radiology service, 56 publications including 11 domestic and 45 parents were broadcasted from 2005 to 2011. In addition, 5 books have been written by doctors of our department.
