In the treatment of all brain-centered diseases, the protection and improvement of mental health of individuals; we provide services with the principle and understanding that the patient's rights are respected and the ethical values are dependent on the therapeutic mental health as well as the therapeutic applications, in particular the highest level of patient confidentiality. We are assertive in our field with our multidisciplinary approach and competent expert team.

Our service is two departments, Policlinic and Clinic. There are 3 examination rooms in the policlinic. MHRS and 182 telephone lines are being carried out in the appointment system.

Routine and advanced psychometric test evaluations are carried out in cooperation with 4 expert psychologists and rich test batteries in outpatient clinic service.

Specialized Branch Clinics (Psychotic Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, Anxiety Disorders) are available at the faculty level.

Our bed service consists of two parts; A and B service. Our service will be available as soon as possible after the completion of the ongoing renovations.

Our B service has 16 beds. With our 1 bed, 2 bed, 3 bed patient bedrooms, our patients are provided with the best and comfortable treatment.

A service where patients with mild / moderate psychiatric disturbances who have less risk in our service (no risk of harm to themselves / environment) are inpatient treatment.

We also have a separate room with 2 beds with high security measures for our patients, who require closer care and treatment. Patient rooms are not smoking.

ECT and TTM treatments are applied in our service

In addition to pharmacotherapy and psychotherapy, Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) and Recurrent Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Therapy (TTMU) are applied in accordance with the latest technological developments in our Hospital Psychiatric Service.


Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) is a safe and effective biological treatment method for certain psychiatric disorders. ECT is applied in our hospital with operating room conditions and latest models we use.



Recurrent Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TTMU) therapy is a treatment method that allows brain functions to be corrected through deeply stimulated electromagnetic wave stimulation. The application is a non-invasive treatment method that does not require inpatient treatment, and does not require anesthesia and analgesia. After TTMU treatment, the person can easily go home / work. In total 10 - 15 sessions are applied and each session is 15-20 minutes on average.

URBAN TREATMENT

In the management of the professional, there are activities for the morning meeting, group therapies, painting, wood painting and hand skills. The organization of kermes that we organize every year and exhibitions of our patients are exhibited.

There is a hall where our patients can eat their meals all together, a fitness equipment in our garden for exercising and a bookcase for reading books and magazines.

Also; There are activities for group games such as pinball, chess, monopoly, jenga, puzzle to improve the social interaction and to ensure that our patients have a better time.

SERVICE

     In the management of the Psychiatric Service, various scientific activities are being carried out in order to improve the mental health services, to develop preventive mental health practices and to make informed contributions in addition to the outpatient and clinical services offered. In this scope;

 

The congresses organized by our service management;

  • The 1st National Congress of Psychopharmacology was held between 14-17 December 2005,
    The 2nd National Congress of Psychopharmacology was held between 21-24 June 2007,
    The 3rd National Congress of Psychopharmacology was held on 12-15 March 2009,
    The 4th National Congress of Psychopharmacology is on 23-27 November 2011
  • It was performed. While a high level of attendance was observed in all congresses, the enrichment of scientific content of the congresses attracted attention of international scientists and more international speakers and participants were present at each new congress.

  • In addition to these conventions, in which proposals for solutions to problems encountered in everyday practice are shared and important concepts related to mental health such as psychopharmacology, biological psychiatry, neuroscience, neuroimaging are addressed, two treatments were updated in the management of GATA HEH Psychiatric Service.

 

   29-31 between January 2008 and demonstrating rapid changes performed with clinical update meetings between 11-14 March 2010 in psychopharmacology that is continuously renewed knowledge, "drug therapies used in the treatment of mental illness" and other methods of treatment to date information and nations in Turkey related to be shared with mental health professionals on the platform.

 

   Magazines and books published in our service;

  The Journal of Clinical Psychopharmacology is a magazine that aims to reach the professionals of mental health rapidly and correctly, which has been published in Turkish and English four times a year since 1990. The first number in 1990 was reproduced by hand and by photocopy method. This year, the magazine has reached 4500 circulation and it has become one of the medical journals at 15 domestic and foreign indexes. The journal is distributed free of charge to all psychiatry, neurology and pharmacology specialists, medical faculty and educational research hospital libraries.

   Journal of Mood Disorders is a well-known magazine published in Turkish and English languages starting in 2011 with the subject of anxiety and temperament disorders.

Published scientific books;

  • Prof. dr. The book, which is brought to Turkish in the editorial of Mesut ÇETİN, leads the professionals of mental health in the treatment of obesity, which is the greatest metabolic disease of our time, with cognitive and behavioral treatment methods.
    "Biological Psychiatry in Research and Practice, Schizophrenia", Prof.Dr. Prof. Mesut ÇETİN and Assoc. It was published in the editorial of Mehmet Emin CEYLAN and it was among the most comprehensive and scientific publications about schizophrenia in our country.
