Neurology Service is continuing clinical, laboratory, outpatient, research and education services.

Clinical Services:

There are 5 specialists and 5 teaching members in our clinic. Our nurse count: 10 nurses and 1 responsible nurse. A psychologist serves both Neurology Clinic and FTR Clinic patients. An EEG; 1 sleep technician and 2 technicians in the Electrophysiology Laboratory. There are three data preparation staff and 8 patient service attendants.

4 beds with remote diagnosis and treatment, 16 beds with clinic and 4 beds with 2nd stage intensive care service. A patient room with 2 bathrooms and two toilets; There is a patient room with shared bathrooms and toilets in 4 double bed corridors and a patient room with shared bathrooms and toilets in 2 corridors with four beds. One of the four bedded rooms is used for daily patient treatment.

Laboratory Services:

Electroencephalography, electromyographies and evoked potentials (SEP, VEP, BAEP, MEP) are applied intensively in the EEG-EMG-EP (Electrono-Physiology) Laboratory of the Neurology Service. In this unit, EMG and EP tests are carried out by our faculty members and EEGs are carried out by EEG technician in charge of our service and then evaluated and interpreted by our faculty members. Our EEG lab has EEG-video monitoring, ambulatory EEG facilities. Within the neurophysiology laboratory, a 2-bed sleep department (Polysomnography) has been in operation for about 4 years.

ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY LABORATORY: Two bed sleep laboratory; 2 EMG devices; 1 transcranial MEP device; 1 adult and 1 child EEG device; With 1 EEG video monitor device, 1 ambulatory EEG device, we have been serving our patients for 30 years.

Intensive care:

2 ventilators in intensive care unit; There are 4 bedside monitors. Transcranial dopler is available. There are 4 bedside monitors on the clinic bed.

                                                                     




Outpatient Services:

Every day is 2 general; 4 private outpatient clinics are active. Cerebrovascular Diseases; Movement Diseases; Dementia and Odor-Taste Disorders; Epilepsy; Multiple sclerosis; Headache and Peripheral Nerve and Muscle Diseases policlinics and specialists for our patients. Patients who are examined in general outpatient clinics via the MHRS system are directed to specialized outpatient clinics for further examination and follow-up.
