Haydarpaşa Sultan Abdülhamid Han Hospital Chest Diseases Clinic provides services by using the most up-to-date methods in disease diagnosis and treatment.

In our 83 bed capacity clinic, there are 6 physicians working in their fields. In addition, our 4-bed Chest Diseases Intensive Care Unit is under the supervision of an intensive care specialist.


In our clinic, our patients are provided with the services of the Breathing Function Laboratory, Bronkonskopi Unit, Respiratory Physiotherapy Unit, 3 bed Sleep Laboratory, Smoking Cessation Policlinic, Allergy Test Laboratory, Pulmonary Hypertension Policlinic and Interstitial Lung Diseases Polyclinic.


The reversibility test, diffusion capacity measurement (DLCO) and exercise tests are performed in the pulmonary function test laboratory using the most modern methods.

Patients with allergic asthma are tested for allergies and are working in collaboration with the allergy clinic.


Video bronchoscopy and EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrason) in the bronchoscopy laboratory are performed by experienced experts in diagnosis and treatment procedures.


CPAP and BPAP use respiratory support devices for respiratory insufficiency due to COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), sleep apnea, neuromuscular diseases and other causes. Training and device access support is also provided for patients who need home use.


In our smoking cessation center, the most appropriate method is determined and the treatment is regulated by evaluating the dependency ratios of the patients.


In the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer, we are working with the radiology, chest surgeon and oncology clinic in our hospital.


In our respiratory rehabilitation unit, respiratory physiotherapy is administered to provide respiratory rehabilitation services to patients with chronic illnesses who are receiving inpatient treatment.


Our clinic is in the status of Educational Research Clinic and training of assistants is given.

 Our Hospital Chest Diseases Service also performs all kinds of diagnosis and treatment (thrombolytic applications, Anjiojet, EKOS) 7 days and 24 hours with Cardiovascular surgery in Pulmonary Thromboembolism patients.
